Muskeg Lake Cree Nation Land Use Plan

Prairie Wild is honoured to work alongside Muskeg Lake Cree Nation to co-develop a new Land Use Plan that reflects the Nation’s vision, values, and self-governance aspirations for the next seven generations.

Rooted in community knowledge and leadership, the plan will guide the sustainable use and stewardship of on-reserve and urban reserve lands, supporting long-term goals for growth, development, and environmental balance. The process includes mapping, leadership and community engagement, ensuring the plan is grounded in the lived experiences and priorities of MLCN members.

Prairie Wild is working in close partnership with the MLCN Lands Department, Land Advisory Authority and the Living Labs / Bridge to Land Water Sky teams to support this important planning journey.
